Yesterday we got home from 5 fun days in Oakley, celebrating with over 200 descendants of Bart’s grandparents, J. Earl and Amanda Whiteley.  This year marks the 100 year anniversary of when they got married and started this magnificent family!  Shortly thereafter, they moved to Oakley.  What a fantastic group of people.  I was so amazed at the work that went into the festivities of the weekend.  Thanks to everyone who worked so hard to make it so nice for the rest of us.  I’ll have to make a photo album of the pictures we took of the parade, the meals, the pinata, etc.  Good times!  Something fun for me was realizing that Owen is the youngest child of the youngest grandchild of Earl and Amanda.  Kind of neat!  When we got to Oakley last Wednesday, Owen turned 5 weeks old.  He did a great job though.  Slept through the nights, and let everyone sleep. 

Thanks again, everyone!  It was good to see you and we’ll see you in Oakley next year if we don’t see you sooner!
