Well, of all the things William could get right now, he had to get Fifth Disease.  He’s been getting bad rash, that gets worse in the sun, for about 3 1/2 weeks now.  Well, today I got a second opinion on the rash from his pediatrician.  She diagnosed him with Fifth Disease, and said it’s harmless to him, just inconvenient and uncomfortable.  But then she looked at me and told me it is dangerous to pregnant women, because some babies develop complications if they get infected before birth. 

Great...  just what I wanted to hear on top of everything else going on with this pregnancy.  So, tomorrow at my doctor’s appointment, they have to take me right back to get some blood taken, and then keep me in a secluded room away from all the other pregnant women while I wait for the doctor.  Hopefully it won’t be a big deal.  And since I’m already getting weekly ultrasounds and other tests done on baby, hopefully they’ll catch anything early that may be a problem.

We’re so close to the end now... only 3 more weeks until my amnio and hopefully a healthy baby!
